Adeyiola Akinrinmade joins KXT Energy Board of Directors
20 May 2026

KXT Energy has appointed Adeyiola (Adeola) Akinrinmade as Non-Executive Director, bringing over two decades of upstream oil and gas leadership to the board, including landmark achievements in field development, corporate finance, and deal structuring across Nigeria's energy sector.
Adeola is the Founder and CEO of Alpha One, Veritas Energies, and Izon Energies, three SPVs operating in the upstream energy space. She previously served as Executive Director, Board Member, and CFO of Petralon Energy, where she had executive oversight of Finance, Strategy, IT, Risk, Legal, and HR, while simultaneously leading operations at the Dawes Island Field in the Eastern Niger Delta.
Under her stewardship, the DI-2 well came onstream in October 2025 at 2,100 bopd, with zero lost-time incidents, achieving first oil on a field dormant since its discovery in 1979. The field now produces approximately 4,800 bopd across two wells, with Shell Western Supply and Trading confirmed as both crude offtaker and co-financer.
Her earlier career at Afren Plc and First Hydrocarbon Nigeria included supporting a $147.5 million acquisition that delivered a 550% capital gain for initial investors within three years, and arranging upstream asset insurance coverage with transaction values of $250 million.
Adeola is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), an alumna of Harvard Business School, and a featured speaker on industry platforms. Both Nnanna and Andy have said that Adeola's record in taking a dormant field from zero to production, bankable, on schedule, and with Shell as offtaker, is exactly the execution discipline KXT brings to infrastructure
