Andy Baker joins KXT Energy as Board Chairman

KXT Energy is pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Baker as Board Chairman, bringing over 32 years of operational leadership across Africa to the company's infrastructure platform.

Andy has lived and worked across 42 of Africa's 54 countries, holding CEO, COO, and Managing Director roles for more than 25 years with organisations including DHL, Altech, and G4S, where he served as Africa CEO leading a workforce of 123,000 employees across 27 countries. He spent 25 years living in South Africa and a further seven years in Nairobi, Kenya, two of the continent's most strategically significant business centres.

With two decades in logistics and additional experience across technology and security, Andy has managed several billion-pound organisations in some of Africa's most demanding operating environments. Over his career he has served on more than 40 boards across Africa, Europe, Australia, and India.

He holds an MBA from Cranfield University and continues to lecture on leadership, strategic management, resilience, and managing in emerging markets at business schools across the UK. He is also the author of two published books and is currently completing his third.
