KXT partners with Volta on financing Africa's infrastructure
20 May 2026

KXT Energy has entered into a strategic partnership with Volta, a specialist infrastructure financing platform, to co-develop and co-finance infrastructure projects across Africa.
The partnership combines KXT's EPC and project development capability with Volta's structured finance expertise, creating an integrated platform for originating, structuring, and delivering bankable infrastructure assets across KXT's priority markets.
The collaboration targets projects in energy, water, transport, and digital infrastructure, sectors where DFI co-financing, private institutional capital, and experienced EPC execution must come together to achieve financial close.
"Financing is the single greatest barrier to infrastructure delivery in Africa," said Nnanna Anyanwu, CEO of KXT Energy. "This partnership with Volta gives us access to financing structuring capability that significantly improves the bankability of our pipeline. Together, we can take deals from concept to financial close with a speed and certainty that neither organisation could achieve alone."
The Volta partnership reflects KXT's broader strategy of building a vertically integrated platform, one that controls not just project delivery but capital mobilisation, ensuring the right financing structures are in place from the earliest stages of development. Further details on jointly developed projects will be announced as they progress.
