Philip Madinga joins KXT Energy as Non-Executive Director

KXT Energy has appointed Phillip A. Madinga as Non-Executive Director, bringing extensive corporate and investment banking leadership from across Southern Africa to the company's board.

Phillip currently serves as Chief Executive Officer and Director at Standard Bank Malawi Ltd., Non-Executive Director at The Leasing and Finance Co. of Malawi Ltd., Member of the National Planning Commission of South Africa, and Commissioner of the National Planning Commission of Malawi.

His career in banking spans Corporate and Investment Banking at Standard Bank, NBS Bank, and Ecobank Malawi, as well as the Managing Director role at FDH Bank Plc and the General Manager role for Corporate and Commercial Banking at First Capital Bank Plc. He previously chaired Sunbird Tourism Plc and served as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Illovo Sugar (Malawi) Plc.

He holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School, one of Africa's most respected management institutions, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Malawi.
